About John Brasch, Singer-Songwriter
John Brasch got his first drum set at age 13 and began playing along to Led Zeppelin records. Soon, he began to join a variety of bands such as Three Days Old, Joint Effort, The Friendship, Lifeline, Lucy and the Repairmen, One Mind, The Juggs, The Norton Sampler Band, and more...
Somewhere along the way John Brasch acquired his first acoustic guitar and taught himself to play. At this point, John’s varied influences in Rock, Jazz, Rock ,Folk, Rock, Blues, Rock, Reggae, and Rock began to come together.
John Brasch performed as a singer-songwriter at open mics all over the area until he was ready for gigs. Eventually, he saw the need to add a band to give his music the energy it needed, and "Brasch and Bold" was born. Although drummers have changed, long time friend and bassist Wally Nowacki has been a part of "Bold" from the start. John Brasch evolved into a dynamic solo performer as well as frontman for the full band. Life provides the stories. It’s all about the song.
